Dear customer,

The Rhenus Group is taking all necessary measures and precautions, and is conscientiously following the instructions of the government to contain and combat the spread of the Coronavirus.

In view of current developments, the UK government feel compelled to adopt more far-reaching measures to slow down the spread of the virus.

We will take a number of measures to protect the welfare of the general public, our employees and also to fulfil our social responsibilities. These measures will apply to all the UK and Ireland beginning with deliveries dated 25th March 2020.

Our delivery teams are instructed not to enter the private premises of any customers until further notice. Accordingly, the shipments will be handed over at the residential door, i.e. in front of the apartment door in an apartment building or behind the front door of a house.

To minimise the risk of infection, we will do without the recipient's signature on the tablet. Instead of a signature, the delivery team will take a photograph of the delivery point and will sign the tablet with delivery completed.

Provided that appropriate return or disposal orders have been issued, the furniture will be collected by our teams provided that these items have been brought to the door.

All additional services, such as unpacking, removal of used packaging or assembly services, will be discontinued until further notice.

The above mentioned measures are necessary to ensure that the delivery of your shipments can continue. It is our goal to meet agreed deadlines and thus our usual delivery times. However, due to the current volatile situation, this may change at any time without notice both regionally and nationally. The reasons for this may include not only sickness-related absences, but also regional restrictions or even restricted areas as declared by the authorities.
